GEOMEGA develops innovative technologies to extract, separate, and recycle rare earth elements and other critical metals—materials that sit at the center of renewable energy, vehicle electrification, and advanced manufacturing.

Our strategy is to de-risk and scale proprietary processes through real-world demonstration, then deploy them with industrial partners—creating value through partnerships, licensing, and the commercialization of circular metal solutions.

WHAT WE DO

At the heart of Geomega is our ISR technology platform (Innord’s Separation of Rare Earths): a low-cost, environmentally focused approach designed to recover value from magnet waste and end-of-life materials, while recycling key reagents to reduce overall footprint. Geomega’s R&D and piloting activities are conducted through Innord, our wholly owned innovation arm based at NRC facilities in Boucherville, Québec, alongside the development of our first rare-earth recycling facility in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville

WHAT WE OWN

In addition to our technology platform, Geomega holds 100% of the Montviel rare earth and niobium deposit in Québec, supported by infrastructure and permanent access, and continues evaluating additional applications for ISR across industrial residues, tailings, and mining feeds.

COMPANY TIMELINE

1

GROUP OF RESEARCHERS, ENGINEERS, TECHNOLOGISTS AND TECHNICIANS UNDER ONE ROOF

CRITICAL METALS AREN’T RARE - THEY ARE MISPLACED

  • The world needs sustainable access to REEs, iron, and aluminum

  • Industry generates billions of tons of residues with recoverable value

  • Our mission: turn industrial waste streams into new resources

EVERY PROCESS WE DESIGN BEGINS WITH DATA, ENDS WITH VALUE

  • Proprietary hydrometallurgical processes

  • Modular, scalable, reagent-efficient systems

  • De-risked scale-up path — lab → pilot → demo → license

  • Core advantage: reagent recycling + low CAPEX
